Irit Weir was born in 1957 and raised in Tel Aviv, Israel by her Persian parents who immigrated from Iran. She immigrated to the United States in 1980 and settled in Napa Valley with her partner, Ernie Weir. They have raised 3 children, and are now blessed to nurture their sweet grandson. Irit has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 30 years and founded the Acupuncture Clinic of Napa in 1987. She is committed to serving humanity through healing and art. Her main expressions are found through oil paint as it is malleable, giving, and layered. She also has extensive experience creating through the medium of mosaic and tile work, as it expresses a more Yang form of movement.
Irit’s paintings are showcased in various exhibitions and private homes around the world, including some series, and works at the Acupuncture Clinic of Napa and Hagafen Cellars.
